Dual Career Hiring Study
Interviews with dual career faculty couples were conducted from fall of 2004 through spring of 2005. Faculty members from Virginia Tech, University of Wisconsin, New Mexico State University, and Utah State University participated in the study. The purpose of the project was to examine dual career hire issues for individuals in academia. Results will be used to identity critical areas for improvement and develop suggestions for handling the challenges associated with dual career hires issues.
